Texas A&M basketball is getting a chance at glory in the SEC Tournament— or a chance to sustain a bitter blow. The Aggies are set to take on the Texas Longhorns in their first game in Nashville, and this will no doubt be one you don't want to miss.
The Aggies have a score to settle against the Longhorns. After defeating their rival in Reed Arena by a decisive margin, the Ags suffered a heartbreaking last-minute loss in Austin, blowing a massive lead in the second half after Solomon Washington exited with injury.
Suffice it to say, Aggie fans are ready for a measure of revenge.

Things in the SEC Tournament can be funny, though. We've seen a lower-seeded Aggie team take down some perceived heavyweights while in Nashville before, so the Ags, as the favorites, will have to be on guard here.
Here's everything you need to know on how to watch Texas A&M basketball face off against Texas.
How do I watch Texas A&M basketball play Texas Longhorns?

Date: Thursday, March 13, 2025
Location: Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN
Channel: SEC Network or streaming
Texas A&M record: 22-9 (11-7 SEC)
Texas record: 18-14 (6-12 SEC)

The Aggies will have to watch their step in this one. Texas has a fair amount of talent, even if it hasn't really gelled this year. If they start hitting their jumpers, it could be a long afternoon.
Combine that with the strange midday tipoff time, and the Ags could find themselves in a hole quickly if they don't come into this game with their minds right. Here's hoping they come into this one ready to play and put the game away early.
