Star Texas A&M receiver Mario Craver limped off the field against the Missouri Tigers late in the third quarter after a big time pickup on third down. The Aggies haven't been pushing the ball down the field often today, but on a 3rd and 9, Marcel Reed found Craver on a crossing route to pick up the conversion.
The speedy Craver had his defender almost completely beat, but he fell down and grabbed at Craver's ankle as he was on the way to the ground. Craver got right up, but as the game was headed to the quarter break, the broadcast showed him headed to the injury tent.

Craver is the Aggies' leading receiver on the season, thanks in large part to a 200-plus yard game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Losing him would be a huge blow, as he is part of the re-haul of the receiver room for the Aggies that has yielded so much good for the offense this season.
Texas A&M has a lot of emerging talent at that spot, of course, with Terry Bussey and Ashton Bethel-Roman playing a lot more recently. Hopefully, though, they don't have to see too much time in Craver's stead, as his speed and evasive ability are hard to replace on this roster.
The Aggies are up 24-10, and would love to salt this one away with a heavy dose of the run and screen game. Craver is a key part of that screen game in particular, so hopefully he's back soon.

Update: Craver was back out on the field for Texas A&M, but was again seen walking gingerly off the field after blocking downfield ahead of a KC Concepcion jet sweep. He later got a reception on a swing pass and looked all good.
