Texas A&M is quietly building one of the top classes in the entire nation for the 2027 recruiting cycle, and they just keep adding momentum. While the current commit list for the Aggies is enough to put them solidly within the top three, they haven't even yet begun to add some of the most elite targets left on the board for which they are trending.
One such target is the nation's top linebacker, Kaden Henderson. The Aggies, thanks to the recent addition of Travis Williams to the coaching staff, have been in the mix for many elite linebackers, but Steve Wiltfong of Rivals went as far as to place an official prediction recently that Henderson would end up signing with Texas A&M.

With Daymion Sanford likely moving on after this year, the Aggies need to backfill the linebacker spot with more elite talent, and adding Henderson would be the perfect way to pull that off. This could be a massive move for Mike Elko and company if they can make it happen.
Texas A&M predicted to land nation's top linebacker Kaden Henderson
Per the 247Sports Composite rankings, Henderson is a five-star player ranked 19th in the nation overall. He ranks 16th overall in the Rivals300 rankings, well within five-star range by the time the class ends up graduating and signing.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Henderson could be a tough pull for the Aggies out of the Sunshine State. New Gator head coach Jon Sumrall will certainly put the full-court press on to keep the elite linebacker within state lines and get him to Gainesville, but the Aggies have clearly built a strong foundation here.
Henderson brings elite athleticism to the position that could see him also function as a high-upside pass-rushing threat. With the success that Elko has had with that kind of archetype, it's no surprise that Henderson is currently leaning towards the Maroon and White.
This would be quite the splash pickup if the Aggies can pull it off. Hopefully, Travis Williams and Mike Elko can get this recruitment across the finish line soon and get Henderson in the boat.
