Texas A&M's Maroon and White spring game is underway, and fans are watching closely to see which new additions to the team is poised to break out. There have been plenty of different names brought up as speculation, but one guy that most Texas A&M fans have been sure will be a high-impact player for some time is Isaiah Horton.

The Alabama transfer, formerly of Miami as well, was Texas A&M's big pickup in the transfer portal at the receiver position. Horton was a touchdown machine for the Tide last season, and Texas A&M fans are hopeful that he will be again in the Maroon and White.

It only took one target for Horton to wow Aggie fans in the Maroon and White spring game, as he made a highlight catch on a back-shoulder throw from Brady Hart. Texas A&M fans have been waiting to see just how good Horton is, and they've caught an early glimpse.

Star Texas A&M transfer Isaiah Horton announces himself in style with highlight grab for Team Maroon

On the very first play for Team Maroon on offense, Horton had a corner route, and thanks to an on-time throw from backup quarterback Brady Hart, he was able to bring the ball in. It wasn't easy, though, as you can see in the clip— he had to dive for the ball, get his foot down, and keep possession as he went to the ground.

If this is the kind of play that Aggie fans can expect out of Horton, then the future does look very bright for the Ags. He doesn't bring the same explosivity as does a guy like KC Concepcion, whose number he is wearing this year, but no player in the country could match KC on that front last season.

Horton is a guy who can get open and haul in difficult catches, and that's exactly what we saw out of him on this play. This is a great start for the newest Aggie receiver, and hopefully we catch more highlights out of him in this one.

Edit: Horton's second touch may have been even better than his first.

This guy is about to be a star for Texas A&M.
