Texas A&M basketball is coming off of an absolutely massive win down in Austin, Texas, where they defeated the archrival Longhorns to move to 14-4 on the season and 4-1 in the conference. Not only was this a big win for A&M fans, giving them bragging rights over Texas, but it also moves the Aggies that much closer to making it into the NCAA Tournament.
This was a tough win for the Aggies in a lot of ways, especially considering Texas is coming off of back to back victories over Alabama and Vanderbilt, two of the top teams in the conference. But Texas A&M went out there and got it done, which is something every A&M fan loved seeing.
Another thing that every Aggie fan loved seeing was the massive poster that Jamie Vinson uncorked in the middle of the second half against the Longhorns. Vinson was the target of a lot of taunts headed into this game, and he all but completely silenced them with this huge jam.

Vinson is a backup big for A&M who left the Longhorns this past offseason, leading to more than a few hurt feelings around Austin. He was welcomed back with sarcastic signs, boos, and jeers, but that all ceased for an instant when he pulled off this move:

Though the Longhorns came into this game as favorites, this dunk midway through the first half let everyone know the way things were actually going to be over the course of this game. Things were tied up at half, but Texas A&M eventually pulled away to lead most of this one by double digits.
The Aggies bring a lot of energy under McMillan, but in a much more uptempo and exciting way than they did under Buzz— and this is the perfect example thereof. This is an aggressive and relentless team, and the Longhorns felt their wrath tonight, especially on this play.
