Texas A&M football picks up massive recruiting win at quarterback following Husan Longstreet flip as Brady Hart commits to Aggies

Texas A&M football recruiting sustained a significant loss not long ago when longtime quarterback commit Husan Longstreet flipped his pledge from the Aggies to Southern Cal. A&M had been all-in on Longstreet for the duration of the cycle, so they were left to quickly find another signal caller with only weeks to go before early signing day.

Well, the Aggies have pivoted in this one with considerable aplomb. This A&M recruiting staff moved quickly and decisively, and have now picked up a big commitment from a top-100 composite quarterback in Brady Hart.

Hart flipped to the Aggies from Michigan after being committed for quite some time. The Wolverines, of course, just flipped the no. 1 overall recruit from LSU, QB Bryce Underwood, which likely led to Hart being open to a move like this. Thanks, Brian Kelly!

Hart is a tall quarterback with a lanky build at the moment, standing at 6'4" and 180 LBs. He is reclassifying up from the class of 2026 to sign in this cycle, making him a member of the 2025 class. He was ranked as a top-100 player in that cycle, and will most likely be similarly ranked in 2025.

This is a huge get for the Aggies. With most of the quarterbacks for the 2025 cycle committed elsewhere and the Ags needing to take a player at the position, they got creative and snagged a big fish. Hart is a productive and accurate passer who received offers from many big time programs, including Clemson, Florida, Ohio State, LSU, and others.

This is massive recruiting news for A&M on the front end of what promises to be one of the biggest recruiting weekends the school has ever seen. Hopefully, this portends more good news to come.
