Mario Craver just stunned the Notre Dame crowd into silence with an unbelievable catch and run through their entire secondary.
The Fighting Irish count on their defense as their top unit, and for good reason: they have a really solid cast of players on that side of the ball, especially in the secondary. They were no match for the new Aggie receiver on this play, however, as Mario is now only a very few yards away from his third-straight game with more than 100 yards receiving— and we're only just over five minutes into the first quarter.

Craver got out open thanks to an extremely timely play call by Collin Klein, who got him out in space on a fake screen that fooled the Notre Dame defense. Craver took care of things from there, as he scampered away from the Fighting Irish and broke a couple of tackles on the way to the end zone.

Texas A&M is in a dogfight so far with the Irish so far. A blocked punt led to points for the Fighting Irish on the Aggies' first drive of the game and a pair of stops eventually led to this possession where Craver lit up the Indiana night.
There have been several times where Aggie receivers have gotten open against this secondary— this one had a lot to do with play design, of course, but they've beaten some of the corners down the field. They'll need to continue to do so if they want to win this game.
