Texas A&M got off to a good start with their offensive line class recently with the commitment of Samuel Roseborough out of Florida. While they have plenty of other big fish on the line, some are closer than others to a decision, and it looks like they are rapidly approaching that point with one of their top targets.
Aaron Thomas, an offensive tackle out of Arizona, is a guy that the Aggies have been zeroed in on for quite some time. While those who only look at rankings may scratch their heads at this notion— Thomas is a three-star prospect who isn't particularly highly-rated on any recruiting service— the Aggies are currently battling with Ohio State, Texas, and Florida State for Thomas's services.
That's an elite group of finalists, and once you take a look at Thomas's measurables, it makes sense. He stands at 6'7" and 300 LBs, boasting a true tackle frame, and just started playing offensive line this last year according to 247Sports's Greg Biggins. Thomas has now set a decision date, with the Aggies feeling pretty confident.

Tea leaves seem to favor the Aggies, as a recruit setting a commitment date in the middle of an official visit is usually a sign that he has committed to the team he is visiting at that point. You can't reason based off of that alone, of course, but it certainly seems to be a positive sign for the Ags.
Thomas would be a literal massive add for the Aggies, given his size, and would help continue to fill out the Aggies' offensive line group. They are targeting John Turntine with intensity as well, though he is currently on a visit to Texas.
