It's officially College Football Playoff week, or as some fans might call it, 'Miami week.' It was Mike Elko's weekly press conference where he gave an update on the injury to Le'Veon Moss.

Moss has been out since suffering a gruesome ankle injury in the middle of the Florida game. The Aggies have been mostly fine ever since, but if the Aggies want to look like a legitimate team to win it all, they need to include Moss in their plans.

Elko made a more optimistic injury update, to say the least. It doesn't provide much, but it's better than what some may have initially thought.

Mike Elko says we should 'wait and see' about Le'Veon Moss' injury

"We're kind of in wait-and-see mode in that one. So, we'll see where that goes."

This is the best update since Moss has been injured. While it doesn't provide the best confidence, this shows that he has made significant progress since the week of the Texas game.

We've seen the hard work from Jamarion Morrow and Rueben Owens II, but the truth is, the Aggies can't win a championship without Moss on the field. Before his injury, Moss nearly went for 400 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He could've easily gone for 1,000 rushing yards with the way he was going, and this is a perfect time to see him come back into the lineup.

The Texas A&M offensive line has held strong all season long, with Owens II and Morrow picking up the slack with no issues. But fans all know that Moss is a game wrecker when he's out on the field, and fans can only hope that this optimistic update from Elko is enough to ensure his playing on Saturday.

Of course, the number one priority is to see him play at 100 percent. We only want what's best for him, but even he can tell you that he wants to be back on that field one more time in Kyle this season, whether he's at 100 or not.
