This has to be cleaned up.

Texas A&M did what they needed to do to get a win against a former familiar face, Bobby Petrino. It seemed ugly at times, as Texas A&M defense seemed to let Arkansas get whatever they wanted in the fourth quarter. Let's give credit where it's due. Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green was pretty incredible, using his legs to scramble and run whenever he needed to, but the Aggies have usually been able to prevent big plays like that.

Mike Elko's motto is to finish games better and not commit stupid penalties. As some folks always say: "A win is a win," but it doesn't stop the fact that fans believe that there's a lot of work that needs to be done before the LSU game next weekend. Razorbacks receiver O'Mega Blake had seven catches for 118 yards and a touchdown. Usually, the Ags have been able to avoid giving up big gains like that this season.

The defense has kept this team in games all season long. With their incredible streak of third-down conversions, it seemed like Arkansas was able to break through to make this game interesting. Here's what Elko had to say regarding his defense, and he didn't mince words at all.

Mike Elko on his defense in general:

"Defensively, we picked a really, really bad time to have a bad game."

More of Mike Elko on his defensive struggles:

"We didn't play anywhere near the standard of Texas A&M football, ever, at any point."

Mike Elko on halftime adjustments:

"We were trying to adjust all game. At times it felt like we were. In the second half, we played cleaner. I don't think we had the massive busts. In the first half, I thought we handed them a lot. We were not very good."

Mike Elko on the Arkansas game being a true road game this time around:

"It doesn't matter where we play this game. This is how it's going to go."
