Mississippi State fans have been taking the time to take jabs at Kyle Field

Texas A&M fans remember perfectly well when Garrett Nussmeier went into Kyle Field too confident, and ate his own words as a third quarter Aggie avalanche came to back to haunt him.

Nussmeier learned a valuable lesson from that, but it seems that Mississippi State fans are quick to talk about Kyle as well. Fans on a well known Bulldogs fan forum website called elitedawgs.com have been talking all about how Kyle Field really isn't that loud.

Really? After all the times people have been proven wrong about this narrative, it just keeps coming back for some reason.

Bulldog fans claim Kyle Field isn't that intimidating

This isn't the first time we've heard this from fans, but it still brings a dead narrative to the picture. In reality, fans and players know how loud Kyle is, it might be a pride thing and they just don't want to admit it.

"Playing at Kyle Field ain't like playing at Jordan Hare or Death Valley in Baton Rouge. It's not that intimidating," one user said.

Another user went as far as to say this is almost like a home game. What?

"I think the boys know it as well. They are probably almost as comfy playing there as they are at home."

It can get quiet when something bad happens, but isn't that pretty much any stadium? No Aggie fan will be cheering for a Bulldog touchdown or field goal, but one user seemed to bring up a point almost similar to that.

"I remember a Leach/Rogers game we played there and when we took the lead it got as quiet as a graveyard. Even the announcers were talking about how quiet the Aggies got."

Just watch for the noise on false starts and illegal formations, fans don't know what's coming. A great game is expected, but simply negating the crowd noise at Kyle Field and comparing it to a home game is a bit silly.
