Texas A&M fans are keyed into the NFL Combine this year, as the Aggies have a nation-leading 13 players among the ranks up in Indianapolis to show their talents for all 32 NFL franchises. This is a time where measurables and athletic traits are put to the test, and it's something that can both move players up and down draft boards depending on how things go.

Longtime Aggie defensive tackle Albert Regis has been going through the drills today, and his results are turning a lot of heads quickly— and he may just be moving up draft boards as we speak. The underappreciated talent along the interior of the Aggie defensive line has been a stalwart for years in College Station, and though he hasn't put up a lot of numbers, he's showing why he can be of great value to any NFL team that picks him.

Regis didn't place lower than 5th among defensive tackles for the major athleticism tests, showing that he would be a huge value add to any NFL franchise.

Though Regis isn't the tallest guy when it comes to defensive tackles, he's a very tough player to move for interior offensive linemen, which shows up on the tape big time. Just take a look at the Miami game for Texas A&M: after Regis went out with injury, all of a sudden, the interior run game opened up in a massive way for the Hurricanes.

The Combine may end up costing guys like Cashius Howell if fan sentiment is anything to go off of, but it could end up being very profitable for a guy like Albert Regis. Hopefully, the high-level showing for Regis can get him rocketing up draft boards very quickly.
