Texas A&M's linebacker position has been one of the big question marks on this team this offseason after the departure of a stalwart at the position in Taurean York. Several names have been ventured as possible replacements for York, but one that has had fans very intrigued is that of Noah Mikhail.
The second-year player out of California has been a guy who has received quite a bit of adulation for the level of play he has brought since stepping on campus, and it was enough for him to crack the rotation this past season at times. He hasn't stopped getting that praise this offseason, as his growth has been a topic of discussion all spring— and he just flashed in a huge way in the Maroon and White game to show why.

It was a bit of a stare down by Casuga, in all fairness, but the quick and explosive movement by Mikhail leaps off of the screen at you. This is a guy who has a chance to impact Texas A&M's defense in a huge way going into next season, and if he keeps making plays like this, it's difficult to see him not doing that.
Mikhail has been in the middle of several plays already for the White team defense, notching some big tackles already. This is a big splash play, but he's been solid all around. Texas A&M has found a gem with Mikhail, and he's continuing to show how good of an evaluation he was for this Texas A&M staff.
