The year is 2014. Johnny Manziel and Mike Evans are rookies in the NFL, Kenny Hill is the A&M quarterback, the Arkansas offensive line is larger than some NFL teams, Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson are on the call, and it's the first year of the College Football Playoff.

Just like they do every year, the Texas A&M Aggies met with the Arkansas Razorbacks at AT&T Stadium. This was a frustrating game for Aggies fans for the most part, but they were able to pull off an incredible comeback.

This is for Aggie fans to gear up for what should be a great game this season.

Here's a throwback of the Aggies-Razorback matchup from 10 years ago.

No. 6 Aggies were in for a tough fight against the Hogs

The Arkansas Razorbacks had NFL talent on their team. Hunter Henry, Alex Collins and Dan Skipper were some notable names that had a career in the pros.

Myles Garrett, Josh Reynolds, Donovan Wilson, Tra Carson, Germain Ifedi and Deshazor Everett were on this A&M team.

The Aggies had many opportunities to take the lead at halftime. but a dropped pass by Josh Reynolds and a missed field goal by Josh Lambo at 14-14 would lead to a horrendous end of first half for the Aggies.

With just over a minute to go in the first half, Arkansas would run a surprise fake punt with Sam Irwin-Hill running it 51 yards to the end zone with blockers on the left side.

Arkansas would have a two-touchdown lead going into the fourth quarter. Hill would throw the ball deep to Edward Pope where he would catch and run home for an 87-yard touchdown. After John Henson missed a 44-yard attempt with two and a half minutes remaining, the Aggies would have plenty of time to tie the game down seven points.

Hill would throw a perfect ball on the far sideline to Reynolds where he would make a juke move and break free for a 59-yard touchdown catch and run.

The game would be tied at 28-28 going into overtime. On the first play for the Aggies, Hill would hit Malcome Kennedy down the middle of field to take the lead—which for a long time seemed like a long shot.

For the Hogs on offense, they would have fourth down and two yards to go, a run to Collins up the middle got stuffed up the middle by Julien Obioha and Everett.

The Aggies would survive an upset bid for a long time that looked extremely unlikely, but they always say, just keep playing!

The next week however, led to the biggest test for the Aggies against Mississippi State on the road, where they ran into a quarterback by the name of Dak Prescott. The Bulldogs would prove to be too much for the Aggies, 48-31.

The Aggies would meet West Virginia in the Liberty Bowl where they would win a close one, 45-37.

Since then, the Aggies have been through two more head coaches, and they've been able to get a New Years Six bowl win. As for the Southwest Classic, they've been able to win eight of the last nine game against Arkansas.
