Texas A&M football 2025 recruiting tracker: Williams and Fasusi announcing soon, where are Aggies positioned?

Two of the biggest targets for Texas A&M football in the 2025 cycle are set to announce this week in S Jonah Williams and OL Michael Fasusi. The pair of five-stars, from Galveston and Lewisville, respectively, are names atop not only the Aggies' recruiting board, but that of every school in the nation, given their high-level potential.

With both set to announce this week, though, where are the Aggies positioned? Will they add another big name to their class?

Will Texas A&M football land Michael Fasusi or Jonah Williams?

There's been a decidedly crimson-and-cream tint to Fasusi's recruitment as of late. All the smoke around the talented tackle from DFW has him headed to OU ahead of his announcement, with four predictions coming in on Monday alone for him to end up in Norman.

If this came to pass, it would have the interesting consequence of none of the three top-level tackles from the Metroplex—Fasusi, Ty Haywood (Alabama commit), and Lamont Rogers (Missouri commit)—being committed to either Texas A&M football or the Texas Longhorns. That's not something I would have foreseen. Of course, there's quite a ways to go before signing day.

Jonah Williams, on the other hand, is a recruitment currently shrouded in mystery. There's been a lot of Texas buzz around him lately, but not enough for anyone to put in a prediction for him to actually land up in Austin.

The versatile safety would be the ultimate chess piece for any defensive coach, given his ability to play either in the defensive backfield or at linebacker. Combined with his supreme athletic gifts, this makes him a must-have target.

Williams will go public with his decision on Saturday. At the moment, he has everyone guessing, and I wouldn't be surprised if that remains the case right up until the second he actually announces.

By Sunday, Texas A&M football could have added one or two bedrock pieces to the future of their program, or they could have struck out completely. This is a consequential week for Aggie recruiting—not make-or-break, given the quality of their current class, but consequential all the same. We'll be watching both of these announcements closely.
