Texas A&M football WR target, 5-star Jerome Myles, sets commitment date for October 30

For all of the great recruiting that Texas A&M football has done so far under Mike Elko, especially with regard to the transfer portal, the Ags are still missing a headline name at wide receiver in the 2025 class. Though the Aggies currently boast Kelshaun Johnson and Tristan Norman as commits, the common thought is that they still want to nab one more name.

And no wonder, given they're still in the hunt for some big time players at the position. One of those is Michael Terry III (admittedly, though, he's more of an ATH prospect at the moment), but it looks like it'll either be Texas or Oregon for him at the moment.

Another name that has emerged, however, is that of Jerome Myles. After decommitting from Ole Miss earlier this year, Myles has shown some significant interest in the Aggies, and they have now made the list as one of the finalists for the Utah prospect.

So, can the Aggies land the plane here? It seems like this is their last, best chance for a premier name at the receiver position in this class. Of course, given the premium placed on wideout recently in college football, it'll be very hotly contested.

The experts, at least at the moment, seem to be leaning elsewhere for Myles right now. Steve Wiltfong has placed a prediction for him to land with the in-state Utes, who seem to be the biggest competition for the Aggies right now.

Of course, there's quite a ways to go before that October 30th date—and even more time between then and when prospects actually sign. If the Ags can get Myles on campus for a game, that would be a huge feather in their cap. Hopefully, Elko, Wiggins, and the rest can close this one out.
