Biggest matchup problems for Texas A&M football in 2024: Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

This is an easy pick for this list. Burden is a game-breaking talent at receiver who chose to stay home with the Missouri Tigers even when he had the chance to go anywhere in the country out of high school.

Despite what I just said at the end of the previous slide, Burden is a guy who is projected to go high in the upcoming draft. He boasts a prototypical game-breaking skillset at receiver, and will be a high-value target for many NFL teams.

Of course, just because you have the athletic potential doesn't mean the production will match—Texas A&M football fans are acutely aware of this due to the last few years in College Station. There's no worry of that with Burden, who has been prolific since he stepped foot on campus in CoMo.

Under the tutelage of Drinkwitz and OC Kirby Moore, Burden has become one of the biggest problems for opposing teams in the entire conference. His ability is a big reason the Missouri game is going to be so huge for Texas A&M football early on—the Aggies will need to make sure he is contained in that game, or it could be a long day for the Maroon and White.
