Since Texas A&M is 9-1 all-time agains the South Carolina Gamecocks, why shouldn't the Aggies take a swing at the Jacksonville State Gamecocks as well? Richard Rodriguez (Rich Rod) took over the Gamecocks program in 2022 and A&M could give him a further warm welcome to the big leagues.

In 2009, the Huskies clobbered the Aggies in men's basketball, defeating Texas A&M 92-66 in the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies' football team could exact a little revenge for their fellow TAMU team on UConn's nearly nonexistent program.
