Texas A&M Football Has Quite A Few Former Players on NFL Playoff Rosters

Texas A&M football has put quite a few players into the NFL in recent years, and many of them are big time contributors to their teams. Here's a list of every single former Aggie that is on an NFL roster, starting with the top name that everyone associates with Texas A&M football in the pros.

Texas A&M Football Players in the Playoffs: P Braden Mann, PHI

Talk about an Aggie legend right here. Braden Mann, famous for heavy hits and huge kicks in his time in College Station, has the misfortune of being consigned to the Eagles roster. Hopefully, a more worthy team will pick him up at some point, but for now, this is where he has landed.

Texas A&M Football Players in the Playoffs: S Justin Evans, PHI

Evans hasn't played since week 5, and is currently on IR after suffering a knee injury. It's unfortunate that injuries have so affected his career thus far, as he possesses high upside.

Texas A&M Football Players in the Playoffs: DL Bobby Brown, LAR

Brown sees a decent amount of time for the Rams, though he obviously plays behind such luminaries as Aaron Donald. He's a key piece in the Rams' rotation up front, however, and will have his work cut out for him against Detroit.

Texas A&M Football Players in the Playoffs: WR Mike Evans, TB

Mike Evans is putting together huge season after huge season down in Tampa Bay, notching at least 1,000 yards in every season he's been in the league, and double-digit touchdowns in half of them. Whether catching passes from Jameis Winston, Tom Brady, or Baker Mayfield, Evans produces. He and the rest of the Bucs will host Philadelphia in the Wild Card round.

Texas A&M Football Players in the Playoffs: WR Josh Reynolds, DET

Reynolds, much like in his time with the Aggies, doesn't get the national attention that he should. He still has his penchant for catches in big moments that Aggie fans remember so well during his time in College Station, and has figured in prominently to this revitalized Lions squad under the tutelage of another fomer Aggie in Dan Campbell.

Texas A&M Football Players in the Playoffs: S Donovan Wilson, DAL

Donovan Wilson's last couple of seasons with the Cowboys under Dan Quinn have shown the kind of impact he can have. He's been one of the most solid defenders for an exciting and flashy Cowboys defense, and routinely lays the wood against opposing offensive players. He's thrived in his starting role, and hopefully he can continue to show out for Dallas in these playoffs.

Texas A&M Football Players in the Playoffs: LB Buddy Johnson, DAL

A late-season add, Buddy Johnson has mostly seen the field on special teams for the Cowboys. He had a huge hit in the last game for Dallas on a kickoff return. If he can demonstrate his value in the third phase, hopefully he, just like Wilson, can find a home with America's Team.
