Texas A&M football roster predictions - WR: Noah Thomas, Jahdae Walker, Cyrus Allen (Backups: Moose Muhammad, Micah Tease, Izaiah Williams)

The significant change here from my previous projections at this position is the inclusion of Cyrus Allen. Insiders have reported several times over the course of fall camp that they've been waiting for someone to make a move in the receiving corps, and I think Allen is beginning to do just that, based on some of the rumors that have been out there.

This, sadly, comes at the expense of Moose at a starting spot. Of course, I think we will have a lot better rotation at the receiver spot, so it may be moot, but Allen and Moose are both slot players.

The wildcard here is the potential return of Jabre Barber. Pending how quickly he recovers—and how close to 100% he is when he's actually ready to go—he may slide right into that slot position as a starter before the season is half over.

Noah Thomas and Jahdae Walker have all the potential in the world to be an extremely feared tandem on the outside for this Aggie offense. Walker had begun to move into a role like that near the close of last season, but he and Thomas both need to take the next step here if this offense is going to be all we think that it can.
