Texas A&M football roster predictions - RB: Le'Veon Moss (Backup: Amari Daniels)

The loss of Rueben Owens hurt here, without a doubt. That said, I do not think he was slated to start instead of Le'Veon Moss, though I think they would have both seen significant time.

Moss is the most complete back on this roster. He's a load to bring down, has plus vision, and doesn't shy away from delivering hits. His speed in the open field is intimidating as well.

Of course, that willingness to take hits may be why he has lost time to injury in both of the past two seasons. You expect that at the running back position to a certain degree, but it definitely feels like it's been more of a factor in his case than with others.

Amari Daniels has alternately flashed brilliance and looked extremely mundane carrying the ball. I'm counting on him to be another guy who takes a step in this Klein offense—one that will feature the run heavily—as he is now entering his fourth year in College Station.

EJ Smith will no doubt see quite a bit of time here as well, but I've got him as a more situational or third-down back. Injury could be disastrous here, as it already has been to a certain extent, but I feel good if the Aggies are able to make it through the season with those three.
