Texas A&M football roster predictions - TE: Tre Watson (Backup: Theo Ohrstrom)

This is a position where I expect there to be a lot of rotation; however, at least at first, I believe it will be Watson who receives the lion's share of the targets. He's a big-bodied target with great receiving skills, and I think it's likely he ends up as one of the more underrated pickups out of the transfer portal for the Aggies this last cycle.

Of course, they nearly didn't get him at all. Ironically, it was thanks to Nick Saban that Watson is on the roster now with the Aggies; he had originally committed to Washington under Kalen DeBoer, but once DeBoer departed, he ended up switching his pledge to Mike Elko and company.

Behind him, reports are surfacing that Theo Ohrstrom is beginning to put it together. It was always a matter of when and not if for the big Swede; he's simply too athletically gifted to never be a big contributor in one way or another. If he can get a handle on this offense, then it will be a scary sight for Aggie opponents—he's a lethal combo of strength and speed.

Other than these two, I see Garrett Miller and Donovan Green making some noise. The Purdue transfer Miller can really play and we all know Green's ability; it just may take some time for the latter to fullly bounce back from an injury that cause him to miss last season.
