5 worst takes after Texas A&M football's loss to ND: A&M has the worst receivers in the conference

The receivers getting separation was definitely an issue in this one. The Aggies came into this game concerned about the receiver position in a vacuum, much less against the best secondary they'll see all year.

However, on rewatch, it's possible some of the issues were a bit overstated. There were actually guys running open at times—but Weigman had trouble finding them often. There were a few drops, but not many.

Again, like I've been saying: this is indeed an area of concern for the Aggies. But it's just too early to know whether this is truly a horrid group of skill talent or whether it's just that the Notre Dame defensive backfield was really that good.

The return of Jabre Barber should help a ton, as will increased utilization of Terry Bussey. As things continue to mesh throughout the season, we can make a fairer judgment—but for now, this is way, way too hasty.
