Texas A&M football makes top four for 5-star CB Dijon Lee; will battle UGA, Alabama, Washington during official visit slate

Texas A&M football is setting themselves up for a huge recruiting class in 2025. It feels like every other day there is news breaking that the Aggies are hosting or in the top group for one of the best recruits in the nation. For all the worries that there were about Mike Elko's recruiting ability when the hire was made, the Aggie coach has acquitted himself quite nicely so far.

This Aggie staff is building a great base especially in the defensive backfield so far. With three guys already committed—three extremely fast players, by the way—the Aggies could settle in with what they have at corner and be just fine. However, Mike Elko, Ish Aristide, and Jordan Peterson have a chance to close on some huge names at that position group.

One of those huge names is five-star Dijon Lee out of California. Lee recently confirmed his plans to visit College Station this summer, and now he has pared down his list of top choices in his recruitment.

The Aggies look to be in an SEC heavyweight battle in this recruitment, facing off against Georgia and Alabama, with a dash of west-coast flavor. I'm not sure the Huskies can stack up against these three big names, but maybe proximity to home can help them out here with Lee.

At the moment, it seems like Alabama has the pole position. The Aggies look like they will get at least a visit at this point, though, and the Aggie staff has been knocking those out of the park so far.

If the Aggies can bring Lee into the fold, this has the chance to be the best DB class that A&M has brought in in recent memory. This Aggie staff continues to impress.
