Texas A&M football: Five players who have put Aggie fans on notice during spring football

Spring camp has drawn to a close for Texas A&M football, and now the long wait for fans begins. That wait will run all the way until August 31 when the Ags take the field against Notre Dame. Short of SEC Media Days in July, however—and a bevy of recruiting new sure to come—what we just got in the Aggies’ spring game will have to suffice us until then.

Luckily for Aggie fans, we were given a lot. This was a much more substantial spring game than we’ve had in years past, and the whole camp period seemed to have more news than usual. That probably has something to do with the fact that the Aggies brought in a lot of exciting transfers, to be fair, but it’s true all the same.

I was originally going to write this article listing both risers and fallers after spring camp, but most of the guys I would have listed as fallers—Alex Howard, Derrick Graham, etc.—have already decided to enter the portal. So I decided to just focus on the risers! Drink the Kool-Aid! This roster has nothing but studs!!

Seriously, though, there is a lot to be excited about with the team that is coming together in College Station. It may take a bit for the national types to cotton on to the kind of team that the Aggies have, but I, for one, am anxious to see this squad get rolling this fall.

So whose arrow is pointed up after spring? Which players are on the rise? Let’s take a look.
