Texas A&M football players with the most to prove in spring: Mark Nabou

This one comes with a bit of a twist. Nabou has been one of the guys who has worked hard, despite a low ranking out of high school, to acquit himself excellently so far in his time in College Station. He's been one of the more reliable players up front in a tumultuous couple of years for that unit.

The reason I'm listing him here, though, is that he will be playing the center position during spring due to Bryce Foster's participation in track and field. Foster's splitting of time between football and throwing shot has been a hot topic among fans for quite some time

The question here is whether Nabou can make enough of a case to stay at center even after Foster returns. How much equity does Bryce have built up in that regard? Does he have any with this new coaching staff? These are both valid questions.

Bryce is clearly extremely talented—but so is Nabou. Center brings with it certain demands that guard does not. Would it profit the Aggies to swap Mark and Bryce? It's certainly possible.

This is to say nothing, of course, of Mark's bright future at running back.

More of that, please!
