Terry Bussey shows explosiveness with long TD run for Texas A&M football vs McNeese

Since he stepped foot on campus, Terry Bussey has been a big time topic for Texas A&M football fans. The newest star Aggie athlete has explosiveness and juice that few others on the team possess—and for that reason, fans want to see him get as many touches as possible.

The Aggies began to wise up to his potential during fall camp when he reportedly lit things up in a scrimmage. Though he didn't get a whole lot going against Notre Dame, it became clear that the Aggies were making it a priority to get the ball to him several times a game.

For that reason, I predicted that we would see a big play out of him in this game against a lesser opponent. Not exactly something that takes a crystal ball, I know, but it had yet to happen.

Now, though, we've seen just how quickly he can move. Late in the game against the Cowboys, Bussey took the handoff from Marcel Reed on a jet sweep before turning the corner and outpacing every single player on the field en route to the end zone.

This is a glimpse of the excitement that awaits Aggie fans in the coming years from this guy. This is the worst he's ever going to be in an A&M uniform, and he already looks like one of the best players on the field.

Can we appreciate Collin Klein utilizing his scheme to get the ball in the hands of his playmakers? It seems basic, but the Aggies were seldom able to do it under the previous regime. Glad to see that has changed.
