For the sake of the fanbase, Texas A&M football needs to bounce back in a big way this weekend. The Aggies fell in a knock-down, drag-out fight against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish that was tied until four and a half minutes left in the game, with the Aggies finally folding.

Though the opener didn't go how A&M fans wanted to see, there's still plenty of opportunity ahead for this team. Every journey starts with a single step, though, and this may not be one that impresses many fans, no matter what happens.

There's still many things Aggie fans can watch for, even against an opponent like this. And we only get twelve of these guaranteed each year, so you can bet A&M fans will be tuning in.

Well, those that can, I mean. The dispute between Disney and DirecTV has affected a lot of customers around the country who are now unable to access Disney-owned channels. That, of course, includes the ESPN family of networks.

There's no real end in sight, though it's hard for me to imagine this dragging out terribly long. In the interim, affected customers have been looking to free trials for streaming services to get their college football fix.

Let's take a look at the game information.
