Everything to know about Texas A&M football vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish: Time, announcers, channel, how to watch, and more
We are now only five days away from Texas A&M football kicking off against Notre Dame in what will be the biggest game of the entire opening weekend. The Aggies and Irish both come into this season with playoff hopes, and this result will go a long way towards deciding who will have the inside track early in the season.
For a game of such magnitude, as you might expect, the coverage will be robust. College Gameday is coming to College Station for the first time since 2018, and the excitement is palpable.
Here's everything you need to know about Saturday's game.
How to watch Texas A&M football vs. Notre Dame

Time: 6:30 PM CT

When College Gameday comes to town, that means the ESPN A team is usually coming with them. That's the case here, as Aggie fans will hear Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Holly Rowe on the call this Saturday. The game will air on ABC at 6:30 PM.
Forecasts right now call for some possibly cooler temperatures than you might expect: current projections have the temperature at 85 degrees and a 20% chance of rain. That's positively freezing relative to most Texas summers, but I'm sure the Fighting Irish won't mind.
Who is injured for Texas A&M football vs. Notre Dame?
Texas A&M will be missing Rueben Owens after a likely season-ending foot injury in the first fall camp scrimmage. WR Jabre Barber is still on the way back after suffering an injury in the spring, but won't be back in time for this one. Other than that, the Aggies look to be pretty healthy.
Notre Dame will be missing Charles Jagusah, who was a presumed starter at tackle after a very solid 2023. Chance Tucker, a backup CB, will also miss, as will backup DL Gabe Rubio. Several key players for Notre Dame, including all-American level talents Benjamin Morrison and Howard Cross III, are working their way back from injury as well.
