I've written before about how Dallas may just be the perfect landing spot for Coop—and this may not even really be a pipe dream. America's Team picks right around the spot where Edgerrin is beginning to be projected in mock drafts, so he's in the right range to end up in the Metroplex.

More than that, though, the Cowboys need a guy like Coop. A big, physical linebacker in the middle of their defense who also boasts the skillset to rush the passer effectively when needed—when you watch any Cowboys game over the last two years where they struggled against an opposing offense, this is the prototype of a player that would have helped them massively.

I think that Coop would be a piece that would slot right into this defense for newly-minted DC Mike Zimmer. He could start right from day one—and a rookie starter on a team like the Cowboys is bound to receive no shortage of media attention. With the way Coop plays, that's a recipe to make him a household name sooner rather than later.
