Texas A&M football rushing offense vs. Notre Dame rushing defense

I think there is some level of opportunity here for this offense. For as much trouble as the Aggie rushing attack had last season, Klein's new scheme, and Adam Cushing's tutelage, could prove to give the Aggies some opportunity to crease opponents in the run game.

Notre Dame's defensive line gets some solid billing—and, again, for good reason—but the strength of their unit is in the middle. With two new linebackers, testing the Irish in the outside run game is something that I think will be a focus of Klein's in the matchup.

Be prepared for a lot of pulling guards when the Aggies run the ball, by the way. If you haven't properly familiarized yourself yet with how Klein's offense works, he gets the big OL out and moving a lot more than Fisher did. Given the opportunities on the edge, this could be another plus for the Ags.

All that said, this will by no means be an easy task. There are enough reasons for hope, however, that I think we can call this one a draw.
