Power ranking the SEC after week four: Shakeup near bottom, stability up top

We're beginning to get a much better idea of who some teams are, but some SEC football teams remain shrouded in mystery.

Power ranking the SEC after week 4 - #13: Arkansas Razorbacks

The Hogs have inched their way up out of the bottom three, but just barely. That was not a pretty game down in Auburn this past weekend… at all.

If you are the beneficiary of five turnovers, but still only win by ten points, there are some legitimate questions as to what should be made of that win (at least as regards projecting forward).

The Hogs have looked like world-beaters on offense against FCS UAPB, and looked explosive at times against Oklahoma State and UAB. But against the Tigers, and in other spots in those other two games, you have to be just the slightest bit worried at how much the offense seemed to be just sitting in neutral.

It wouldn’t be the first time that we’ve seen Bobby Petrino offenses look unstoppable against lower-level opponents and be profoundly limited against teams that are more skilled than they. I’m beginning to think that this year’s Arkansas team may be a similar story.
