We still have not seen a full season of play combined out of Weigman, even though he is entering his third year having started for a stint in each of the last two seasons. Regardless, what we have seen is phenomenal—but not quite yet enough to wash away all doubt in the minds of neutral observers.

His best throws (such as the one on the last slide to Moose against LSU) are absolute drops in the bucket. He can run and make accurate passes off-platform. Underrated athleticism can make him a dual threat; lethal in the NCAA titles of years past.

Even though Weigman has not seen the field enough, we still see his name pop up in odds for the Heisman trophy and all-SEC in preseason. The five-star pedigree working in tandem with what we've seen out of him in game action explains that. He's enough of a known factor, and quarterback is important enough of a position, that I think the game developers will hand Weigman a favorable rating.
