SEC 2024 Schedules: 8th Toughest - Oklahoma

OU is being handed quite the task with their first ever SEC schedule. They open with two easy games against Temple and UH (which I guess counts as a Power 5 game?) but welcome in a good G5 team in Tulane in week 3.

Tennessee visits for the Sooners' first SEC conference game in Week 4, and then the Crimson and Cream roll down to Auburn for a contest against the Tigers. They get a bye ahead of Red River and have it a little easier than the Longhorns immediately after; whereas the Horns face off at home against Georgia the next week, the Sooners will play South Carolina.

From there, the Sooners have road contests against Ole Miss and Missouri sandwiching a home game versus Maine. They get another bye before a brutal final two games, hosting Alabama and visting Baton Rouge.

It's tough to predict how OU will look, but this could be a five-plus loss season when all is said and done. The schedule certainly doesn't do them any favors here.
