SEC 2024 Schedules: 7th Toughest - Auburn

Hugh Freeze is looking to make a huge jump in his second year as the Auburn head man, but he'll have to overcome the normal even-year struggle of a visit to both Athens and Tuscaloosa to be relevant for the SEC championship discussion late in the year.

The Tigers have a nice warmup slate against Alabama A&M, California, New Mexico, and Arkansas before the Sooners come to Jordan-Hare. After five straight home games, the Tigers will venture out into the wide world for a date against the Georgia Bulldogs to cap off the first half of the season.

A bye week is slotted in there, but the Tigers have the dreaded back to back conference road games following the break against Mizzou and Kentucky. They return home to face off against Vanderbilt on November 2nd (no home games in October is kind of crazy!) before they take their second bye.

The last three games are pivotal: a home tune-up against ULM precedes a visit from the Aggies and Mike Elko, and both teams will have to be careful to not be looking ahead as they play bitter rivals the following week. This will make two straight years that the Tigers face the Aggies directly preceding a rivalry game.
