SEC 2024 Schedules: 4th Toughest - Georgia

The Bulldogs open against Clemson in Atlanta for what is essentially a home game, and one that, absent an unexpected offensive resurgence by the Tigers, they should win handily. Their first home game is against Tennessee Tech, and they visit Kentucky before a very early bye.

That week of rest will be very necessary, as they are staring down the barrel of a trip to Tuscaloosa the following week. This comes ahead of a home game against Auburn, as well, so back to back huge games for UGA precede the Bulldog Bowl when Mississippi State comes into town. They should handle Lebby's team easily, though, if they aren't looking one week ahead to their trip to Austin.

If they make it through that stretch unscathed, I'd wager they finish out that way as well. They host UF following a bye, and then make their way to Oxford to face off against Ole Miss. They close out with three straight at home, however, as Tennessee, UMass, and Georgia Tech will all come through Athens.

This is a front loaded schedule if I've ever seen one. In stark contrast to this previous year, the Bulldogs will have a huge challenge in front of them in the regular season. Aside from a trip to Tuscaloosa, though, I would be surprised if they drop any of these games.
