SEC 2024 Schedules: 3rd Toughest - Arkansas

The Hogs pop up on this high up on the list despite missing both Alabama and Georgia; how is that possible? Well, even though they won't face off with the Tide or the Dawgs, they play pretty much every single team on the second tier of the conference.

Auburn, Texas A&M football, Tennessee, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas, and Missouri all make an appearance in the conference slate for the Hogs. Oh, and they have to travel to Stillwater in week 2 to square off with Mike Gundy and the Cowboys.

Weeks 3 and 4 see them travel to Jordan Hare and meet the Aggies in Arlington, before returning home against the Volunteers. They get a bye ahead of a brutal three-game stretch: LSU at home, Mississippi State on the road, and then Ole Miss in Fayetteville. Another bye comes their way before they host Texas; they get a brief break with Louisiana Tech before they close the season at Mizzou.

This is a slate that seems like clearly portends a dismissed Sam Pittman by about that second bye week. The Hogs could easily be 2-7 headed into the final three weeks, with the Longhorns and Missouri still to play. Tough draw for the Razorbacks this year.
