SEC Nation set to visit Gainesville for Texas A&M football and Florida's week 3 matchup
As of right now, I don't think there are many Texas A&M football fans that are thinking too much about any game other than the one set to take place Saturday night in Aggieland. The opener against Notre Dame is a huge one, and it's getting all the hype you would expect for such a consequential game.
A prime time kickoff on ABC, the A-team of announcers from ESPN, College Gameday in town—everything you could hope for in terms of exposure is going for the Aggies ahead of this game. For three and a half hours on Saturday night, the college football world will have College Station, Texas as its epicenter.
That kind of publicity can do wonders for a program moving into a new era with a new coach. However, the publicity apparently doesn't stop there.
Looking a little bit down the schedule reveals that the Aggies are looking at another high-profile matchup only two weeks from now, when A&M travels to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators. It was reported today that SEC Nation, the SEC Network's version of College Gameday, will be present for that matchup between the Aggies and Gators.
That game is set to be broadcast on ABC as well, at 2:30 PM CT.
This matchup promises to be one of the most difficult road games for the Aggies this year, as well as one of the most needful prospective wins for a Gator team that faces an absolute gauntlet of a schedule. UF will be desperate for a win in this one, so the Aggies will need to keep their composure.
