Stud: Nic Scourton

Talk about making a name for yourself on campus that quickly.

Scourton was seen injured during the game but came back and made an impact. That riled up Kyle Field in an instant.

Scourton finished with 1.5 tackles for loss and three total tackles, but felt he made a statement to lead his team in his first game in a new uniform.

Scourton is expected to be an impact player, and he will have even better numbers in other games this season.

It won't be long until he'll get that first sack or make that deflection to cause an interception.

He showed why he and the Aggie defense will be in good hands this season.
