Studs and Duds from Texas A&M football's enraging season-opening loss

Stud: Taurean York
There will definitely be fans wondering why York is one of the studs. After all, he missed that key tackle that led to the Notre Dame touchdown in the third quarter.
Other than that missed tackle, York was actually pretty effective.
York is an athletic monster who's a sophomore. He's also one of the leaders on his team. That's pretty strong praise as someone who's only in his second year.
York finished with nine total tackles and was very active the whole night.
York even admitted in the postgame presser that he owns up to that hiccup in the third quarter. He will have more brighter moments than dark moments, and that was a learning experience for him and the entire defense.
