Texas A&M Aggies news: Jacoby Mathews enters portal with strange timing, baseball continues dominance

One of the headlines of the day yesterday was rising junior safety Jacoby Mathews announcing his intention to enter the transfer portal. This was odd for a couple of reasons: the spring portal window doesn't open for more than a month, and Mathews was slated to start at safety this year. We examine why it might be that he chose now to announce his intentions.

Texas A&M basketball lost another game, this time by an embarrassing margin. Tennessee got their revenge up on Rocky Top, and more than repaid the Aggies for a blowout in the reverse direction at Reed Arena. Where do the Aggies go from here?
