Texas A&M football vs. New Mexico State Aggies

539. 535. 10. . . g. 52. .

The Aggies Bowl returns! Who will exit the week with the rights to the nickname? Who will exit in disgrace en route back to Las Cruces?

Okay, I may have tipped my hand there with the phrasing. But I think it’s a safe bet that the Aggies will emerge victorious here.

Texas A&M, I mean.

Even so, Mike Elko’s squad shouldn’t take this one lightly—and this time, I don’t just mean for App State reasons. No, New Mexico State is coming off of a year in which they notched their first-ever win over an SEC team after knocking off Hugh Freeze and Auburn in late November of 2023.

Of course, this A&M team is better than that Auburn team. Even so, though, you can’t play around in games like these. I know Jerry Kill is no longer the head man for NMSU, but I don’t want to take my chances with a team that is trying to build momentum to get out of the gutter.

I’ve got A&M emerging victorious here after a long two weeks to ponder their loss to the Gamecocks. This one will be emphatic—52-10 to move to 9-1 in College Station ahead of the final road trip of the year.
