Texas A&M football at Florida Gators

This is a tricky one, for many reasons. Much has been made of the deathly tough schedule with which the Gators have been saddled this year, and for good reason. This early on in the season, though, before the light has completely left their eyes, they'll be hungry for a victory.

Of course, the Aggies' road game woes are well documented over the last couple of years. They haven't won a game as the visiting team since October of 2021 against Missouri, so they'll have the weight of that streak dragging them down coming into the Swamp.

Still, though, this is an Aggie team that is decidedly better than the Gators. Graham Mertz will still be the guy behind center for UF, barring something disastrous early on, but I think they'll turn to DJ Lagway later on in the season. There's some young talent down in Gainesville, too, but the Ags still have the upper hand.

I have this one as another that's a little close for comfort for A&M fans. Even so, I have the Aggies winning down in the Swamp to move to 3-0 (and approaching a top-10 ranking, most likely).
