Texas A&M football's media team drops hilarious short video for Father's Day tribute

For however prodigious the skill of this Texas A&M football team is—and by all accounts, they are one of the most talented squads in the entire nation—it looks like they may have the personalities to match.

One of the benefits of the NIL era is the increased ability for players to put themselves and their personalities out there to a greater degree than was previously possible. Beforehand, we mostly knew players from sideline interviews and press conferences; now, we from time to time can get more of a glimpse at what their personalities are like.

The Aggie football media team has already done some good work in this arena with their itinerant question videos, where they place a written question under a camera and players answer as they walk off the practice field. This is usually stuff like "who is your pick to win the Super Bowl?" or even "What's the best breakfast food?" Those are always funny.

But what the team put together for Father's day is truly a gem. The question videos are impromptu; this is a full-on written sketch—and one with some pretty funny lines! Watch below, or at this link.

Given his leader status and what we've seen from him in interviews, I think I could have told you that Taurean York had the chops to pull this kind of thing off. I am extremely impressed with the comedy stylings of Micah Tease and Rueben Owens, however; I didn't know those two had this in them! Rueben's "my arm is in a cast" line got a chuckle out of me, I can't lie.

The Aggie faithful are lucky to have a talented media team running the show like this. Videos like this are always great—keep them coming!
