Texas A&M football picks up first wide receiver commitment of 2025 cycle
Texas A&M football notches verbal commitment from 3-star receiver Tristan Norman
Yes, even though it’s the baseball team that is grabbing all the headlines at the moment, this Texas A&M football staff still remains hard at work. The Aggies just hosted a huge recruiting weekend (actually, for the third weekend in a row!) and have resultantly picked up a commitment from one of their targets.
Tristan Norman, a three-star receiver from Carver, Alabama, announced today that he would be committing to Texas A&M football.
Norman becomes the first receiver commitment for the Aggies in the 2025 cycle. The Aggies are going big-game hunting at the position and are in a lot of national recruitments, so this should tell you what they think of this guy—despite his rating, he’s a priority for the staff.
Norman boasts plenty of speed and can get downfield in a hurry. Though he’s lowly-rated by some of the services, he is in possession of several traits that the staff is prioritizing in this class, speed chief among them.
Norman may be the first receiver to jump in the boat for the Aggies, but I doubt he will be the last. Holmon Wiggins is making a lot of noise on the trail so far, with the Aggies in on some huge names like Kaliq Lockett and Michael Terry, so there are doubtless some big time dominos yet to fall in the Aggies’ favor.
This is a solid addition to this class. Welcome to Aggieland, Tristan!
