Texas A&M football set to kick off massive recruiting weekend; Can the Aggies land a top name in the next few days?

Texas A&M football has been building towards this huge recruiting weekend for quite some time. It's been no secret that many of the top prospects that the Aggies are targeting have all aligned to come to College Station this weekend, and things are beginning to kick off.

Some of the names slated to be on campus? How about three of the top five offensive lineman in the nation in Ty Haywood, Michael Fasusi, and Lamont Rogers? Each of these three tackles, all from the DFW area, will be down in Aggieland over the next couple of days—as will Haywood's running mate on the Denton Ryan OL and Aggie commitment Marcus Garcia, which certainly can't hurt.

Some other big names include Jonah Williams, the five-star safety/LB hybrid out of Galveston Ball high school. Williams seems to be leaning towards the Aggies as of right now, so maybe this weekend could put A&M over the top in this key recruitment.

Kaliq Lockett, a five-star wide receiver for whom Texas has had some momentum of late, will also be on campus. The Aggies are right there in this one by all accounts, and hopefully some time down on campus with Elko and receivers coach Holmon Wiggins can move A&M into pole position.

Another big time name that will be on campus is five-star TE Linkon Cure. The Aggies are battling Kansas State for Cure's commitment, and the more the Aggies can get him on campus the better, as I'm not sure the Wildcats have much that can match up visit-wise.

Overall, this could be a massive weekend for the Aggies. Whether they come out of the weekend with a commitment or not, this will be huge to lay a foundation for later decisions.
