The transfer portal has hit Texas A&M football just like it has for any other program. It's just a new reality in college football.

Fans of every team are curious to follow the departing players, especially in a situation like A&M's. They always track how their former players are doing in their new journey.

There are plenty of former Texas A&M football players who are trying to thrive in their new home. Some have been more successful than others so far, and some have found out that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Here's an update on some former Aggies and how they're doing currently.

Tracking Texas A&M football portal departures: Bryce Foster - Kansas

In reality, is this loss for A&M really that much a difference?

Foster started in every game last year for the Aggies to bring his total to 28 starts in three years in College Station. The future seemed bright for the Aggie center, who was a big recruiting win for Josh Henson and Jimbo Fisher.

However, Foster fell out of favor after what seemed like a promising start to his college career. Since then, Mark Nabou had taken more of his thunder, but now with his injury, Faaiu will be in that place.

If Foster had left in 2021, it would be a huge blow. Now, with the transfer portal, this move was almost expected. For Aggie fans, they wish Foster well, but he's one of those players that won't be booed or thought about if the Jayhawks were to meet the Aggies one day.
