Tracking Texas A&M football portal departures: Jake Johnson - North Carolina

Jake Johnson had to start the year off tough.

His brother Max, another former Aggie, went down with a serious leg injury to start the 2024 season.

Max had to be carted off and the Tar Heels have been looking for answers ever since.

For Jake, that's his guy, his brother, his number one quarterback.

Jake had quite the connection with Max during his time with the Aggies, but that will not continue this season.

Jake is an explosive receiver when he gets the ball and running the secondary.

He may not be the valuable weapon he was in an Aggie uniform, but he'll be looked at as a red zone option for the Tar Heels.
