Texas A&M March Madness Schedule: Texas A&M basketball matches up with Nebraska in first round

Texas A&M basketball has made it to March Madness, a feat that it sometimes looked like they would not achieve this season due to their alternating hot and cold streaks. Now, though, the Aggies have locked down a tournament bid, facing the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the first round.

The Aggies had to scratch and claw to get here, and it wasn't always the nicest experience for fans. There were more than a few of the Maroon and White faithful who called for Buzz Williams' job during a couple of those skids, but now the fifth-year head Aggie has a chance to silence the doubters with a tournament victory. Whether or not he can accomplish that will tell a lot about his future.

Aggies' March Madness schedule: How to watch Texas A&M vs. Nebraska

  • Date: March 22
  • Time: 5:50 CT
  • Location: Memphis, TN
  • TV: TNT
  • Streaming: Fubo TV

Like the above tweet says, this team really did earn this moment. They came into the season highly ranked, and were humbled early on despite some big victories in the non-conference.

When it looked like they had figured it out, they were confronted with another skid. The ability to rise above those circumstances and pull it together for a big run headed into the conference tournament is why they are where they are today.

The Aggies are the 9 seed in their region, meaning that their matchup with Nebraska, the 8 seed, is viewed as the closest matchup in the entire region. The Aggies currently sit at 20-14 after their SEC tournament wins and loss.
