The 8 greatest NBA careers in Texas A&M basketball history
By Sam Fariss
DeAndre Jordan has played in the NBA for a long, long time – for almost as long as the one and only Lebron James as a matter of fact.
Jordan was selected 35th overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He played an impressive and productive decade in LA before taking his talents to the Mavs, the New York Knicks, the Nets, the Lakers, the 76ers, and most recently the Denver Nuggets.
He was a part of the Nuggets’s squad that won the NBA Championship in 2023 and was an NBA All-Star in 2017. Jordan was named to the All-NBA First Team in 2016.
Over this almost two-decade-long career, Jordan has amassed 9,263 points, 10,491 rebounds, and 1,541 blocks. He has 141 more blocks than turnovers and has also contributed 555 steals to his various teams.
